Doug Young

As far as I have understood, Doug Young was kind of "out of favour" with our previous administration, and since I don't see his name amongst those mentioned for the special game in september, I just want to ask if he has been asked?

 

I mean, he is one of those really big names from that period, so I assume he has been asked? If he would not play, maybe he is still coming to be a part of that celebration?

 

Anyway, I'm coming over that weekend, that's for sure!

As Simon said Dougie Young is very much a key part of the celebreations on the 5th September.

 

Unfortunately Dougie cannot play anymore but will be represented on the pitch on this day by his son.

That's good to hear! Looking forward too meet him. When I was interviewed in that norwegian radio show back in May, I of course mentioned the FA Vase-finals and his hat-trick! So a lot of norwegians know his name too! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
