My opinion is that there is a good chance the club will fold if these " heads of terms " are not signed soon.Sandy E must be aware of this. However in todays Gazette he is qouted as saying that whatever the outcome of this current project football will return to Hartsdown. How can he be so confident he must have something up his sleeve. I am certainly not knocking the guy, but this is how I have read the article and i do think asking for an explanation is fair!!!

Perhaps he's talking in terms of "local" football returning there as is at garlinge and jackey bakers. Be wary of his remarks as they can mean more than one thing! One thing we all know for sure is that either KP or SE is "LYING".It HAS to be established which one is doing the lying and for what reason.

i dont think SE has a hidden agenda. he has a job to do and if ther club fail to provide fundamental details what can they expect? how is SE supposed to justify signing paperwork wihout knowing the full consequences of what he is doing. i think some people are being too naive when it comes to trusting KP. how long as this been going on for? come on guys, enough is enough as far as the club goes now. they can't be trusted.

(1) i am sorry to those out of towners that i have not put out a version of the article. but my blood is only just starting to come off the boil.(2) I do not know if this as any relevence to what is going on or not. Driving around as i do picking up and talking to people i have had comments off certain local property developers and the like that there are plans a foot to build an obscene amount of housing in the valley opposite the ground stretching fron Hartsdown road through to the Shottendane/garlinge rd.As one developer said to me Believe it,it will happen.Would you want a football stadium fronting your new private development.( think of the carpet sales ) (3) The comment attributed to the source of the article about guarenteeing the future of local football in the park or IN THANET. Does this still mean the misguided notion that the club as with in in its limitted life the time or finances to source/ fund a move to a more central part of the area, or to let margate go, build a new stadium for Ramsgate (think how much the tdc would get for the rams ground). Be a great benefit to the already overstretched haine rd on a saterday afternoon wouldnt it. Most of the article was a repeat of old chestnuts /some thing to say ,after starting to cool down ijust hope no public servant can be this stupid. Long live the Gaaaaaaaaaaaaate. for those who appose remember in times of adversity you find out who your real friends and supporters are and you DON'T forget. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Selling Southwood was meant to finance the groundshare at Haine but local residents said no and that was that. Interestingly, local residents don't really want a football ground there either. Perhaps they would like an unspoilt forest or a cemetery, although those gambolling deer can be noisy, or worse those grieving relatives sobbing at all hours.

Typical Thanet attitude, don't want an arts centre, don't want an airport, don't want a ferry, don't want any successful football teams, just want to retire and watch Sky and to hell with anyone under the age of 65.
