Signings n Stuff

Recommended Posts

Article in tonight's echo, talks about signings of Forbes, Gallagher and Cousins as well as 2 youngsters from Orient. Similar sort of stuff on website now.....

Work continues on the extension to the bar, with the walls starting to be built. Still plenty of painting to be done, so don't forget to turn up tomorrow armed with paintbrushes!

As previously mentioned the new programme is going to be good, saw the drafts last night, spoke to Justin for the first few "from the dug-out" articles today, it's all looking good!

I saw in the Echo the other day you're interested in signing David Mcsweeney although apparently Crawley and Dagenham are both interested.

Would be a good signing if you can get him.

I've had a little read on the Orient site about Matt Game and Ross Wareham.

Ross is a 6ft 3in centre forward and is a good holder of the ball apparently and he's a local boy as well which is good.

Matt sounds good aswell, strong takler and a very hard worker!!

2 good signings there!!

Both boys were on loan at Braintree last season.

What did you think of them? any good?

Last season they came in when morale was low and did a decent enough job, it can't be easy for new players to settle into a team near the bottom of the division, they returned to the O's shortly after Christmas if i remember rightly.

Wareham played 10 times and Game 9, between Nov 04 and Jan 05.

Both were offered to us earlier this summer, but we declined.

....as neither was at least 35 years of age and both refused to sign the bit which said they weren't allowed to go beyond the half way line....

Log onto the BTFC.net and you'll find all the signings there.

Not all of them, yet!

I'm wondering about the goalkeeper situation. We've lost both JJ and Weaver, so who's going to replace them?

Hmm, I'm beginning to reply to my own replies...is that a bad sign? si_picchiano.gif

Anyway, you may not know this, but for many thousand pints of Guinness ago, when I was playing football myself, I actually was a goalkeeper... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
