I've heard a rumour that Chelmsford City are in liquidation - any truth in it ?

To part answer my own question the Companies House website states that Chelmsford City Football Club Limited were dissolved on 6th July 2004. Surely if this were correct it would have hit the local press by now?

Well, our local press are only interested in Pikies and Gypsys...And anybody from Basildon wishing to have a pop at Billericay. So I doubt it...

 

But with Simon (he of drunken prose and sluring wit) is gonna ring the changes...especially in the Billericay & Wickford Gazzette.

The clue is in the name Gaz, Billericay and Wickford, not Billericay Wickford and Chelmsford gazette! That would be the Essex Chronicle...

 

Why blockhead doesn't have a look at the Chelmsford website, I do not know but if he reads this article it will put his mind at rest.

If the Yellow advertiser were a being, (in my opinion) it would be a low life.

 

They contacted our club last week with a similar point, they asked what was being done about Billericay Stadia accounts, and pointed out they have only 2 months left to be submitted.

 

When told to fck off, they contacted Rod Moore to try and stir things. Unsuccessfully of course, he also told them to Fck off and immediately let us know what was going on.

 

Again, in my opinion, they are nowt but scum.

 

Maybe blockhead is the Y-AD? Why else would he come to our site.

Just lazy journalism. You can find out in a matter of minutes that the company that has been wound up was a "shell" company, used by a previous board of directors and, as the current rulers of Chelmsford city don't use it, it's being wound up! The Chelmsfod City company has another name. But then that doesn't make a story.

 

The yellow advertiser is an embarassment in every way imaginable. It is a waste of trees. Obviously there is only one paper where you are guaranteed to get impartial views on BTFC and that's the gazette <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Quite frankly the Yellow (quite apt) Advertiser has been anti-Ricay since day one and I wouldn't even use it to wipe my rather fat [****!!****].

Thanks Simon, I thought there would be a rational explanation. Companies House search engine does not pick the trading company up unless you include the word "Supporters"

 

PS I'm certainly not from the YA and have been coming to see the Blues for 10 years plus. It was a genuine concern, as we shall still be hosting CCFC at New Lodge until their expected move to Melbourne Park <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
