RE IAN D. quite agree with you MR DAY,dont kick the bee hive less you want to get stung,its a matter that now requires those papers to be signed we have no idea of what kind of legal pit falls stand in the way,certain folk will be aware that we have given our pound of flesh,in accepting the demotion the onus is now upon our coumcil and we should respect that they must act with due caution,some good news soon,im sure ....ANGLE .

Due caution is one thing wasting peoples time and ratepayers money is another.

Councillors are only after what they can get out of situations themselves. If they really cared about the area they would take expenses and turn down the over inflated allowences to save money for the people of Thanet that can be better spent on services and facilities.

I think you'll find that TDC Councillors are very cautious. They were dragged over the coals by the District Auditor re: the Haine Road, Thanet Stadium debacle. It's hardly surprising they go through everything with a fine toothcomb (except the 800 grand a year the bloody Turner Centre is going to cost local ratepayers.

RE FRANKIE IO. glad you agree with the caution issue however seem as if you might have a dissagreement of your own with TDC, and not to do with the club,sory if im wrong but we have to have our say dont we as you have done,im not concerned with matters that do not have any thing to do with the club,have to admit that their are some grey areas that i fail to understand,thats why their doing the job and not us,hope that they soon resolve matters and we can go home. yours ANGLE.

RE NOLAN. fair comment nolan are you a supporter or just an onlooker as you said,does seem like everything is againts the club,turner center is not everyones cup of tea,im worried the with the area being as run down as it is visitors may be wary about comming here,would much rather have had a new seaside pier with all the trimmings,could have had a turner center on that as well,....ANGLE

No personal grip with the Council (being an Exile)just want my home town to survive and not resemble a 3rd world hovel which the seafront from Westbrook to Cliftonville is heading, and as half of that is the main route into the area it does not encourage anyone.
