Season 2004/5.

Recommended Posts

With so many fans wanting to have a go, wouldn't it be a good idea to do something similar at the Slough home games? (That is, assuming Braintree don't have 'copyright' )

Then, somebody different could represent Slough each week.

Mark (Braintree) - Out of interest, who pays for the meal vouchers? Or are they 'sponsored' by the establishment concerned?

PJ - Mr H sponsors the event, he was only too pleased to do it, we give him a mention in the Match Day Prog so he gets the advertizement plus a mention over the p.a.

He offers a meal for two, which would normally cost a tener, x that by 21 games, if we can get a volunteer from the away club. I think it was just the one game where we could not get someone interested from our visitors, every other home game people have been keen.

The only reason why 12 was that we did not start it until November last season, been a success.

Flag.

Doing it at our place to see who does it at Braintree sounds like a good idea.

If this many people are up for this kind of thing why don't we play more supporters matches? Surely we have got enough for a couple this season minus the ringers?

Who would you play local teams or Ryman Rivals?

We are in a mini tournament on Daggenhams pitch at the end of the season, playing Canvey, Southend Utd, Ricay, Orient, Daggers plus 2 other Essex Clubs cant remember them.

I would be up for it, the only problem is getting back round to your area to enjoy it.

As one of the suys that run our supporters club I am sure that there are a few that would fancy a go.

Maybe we could even arrange a full penalty shootout were each person could get sponsored to raise money for their respective supporters clubs.

What do you think?

Local pitch, played Aylesbury on a nearby pitch to the ground, also played at Taplow Utd, know a few people at the polish club so might be able to pull a few strings - are Windsor up for a match?

I am sure that we could, at a push!!

We will have to see when the fixtures come out, although you would assum that it would be same time as last season.
