some feed back please chaps......

 

we are playing with the idea of player sponsorship next year at 50 quid a go...

 

you get your name next to their player profile in the proggie...the players signed shirt at the end of the season.....your foto taken with the player if you wish......

 

and ...........

 

your missus gets to sleep with him as well if you like... <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

 

thereby leaving us all free to go to stringfellows without any aggravation.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Good idea, gets the supporters closer to the players for one, we used to do this a few years back and it was always successful.

Also it identifies the supporters a bit more and gives them recognition, which of course they deserve.

I'd also like feedback from all you regulars please on a supporters' HX man of the match, just a possibility at the moment, constructive views please.

Hate to swing my brand of negativity in but what happens if the Player Leaves ?

 

Supporters Man of the Match is a great idea but adding to it i would like to see each man of the match award add up to the end of season Player of the Season award !

the new order will never work U.....player of the season is to be voted for.... a few man of the matches won't do it.....

 

as for if a player leaves....how can they if they are on contract.....which all ours are....

A player of the season needs to be judged on Ability not personality thats always the risk with Supporters player of the year !

 

What happens if they don't work out and sold, i'm just streching my vocal chords we all know what certain persons response was to critism on the forum however much we liked him !

When our players left last season, we were just asked who we would like to have instead after they had gone (to replace that player), i started the season with Kalam Mooniuruck and Dean Parratt.

Kalam left and so I got James Ayres. No extra cost, I assume you would do something like that wouldn't you?

Thanks for your views, we used to add all the MOM's up and present the winner with a trophy.

My idea this time, and it's only for discussion purposes, is just to have a MOM for every game home and away, and publish the list in the progi, anything to promote a better performance from each player.

Many clubs do it this way, and of course the Supporters' player of the year would be a totally different matter because you may vote for a player who has never won MOM but his consistent performances merit the POTY award.

Any further views please?

Sounds an excellent idea the shirt sponsorship. My only point would be to let the "fans" get first pick, before the corporate’s get in and stick their company names to the best players. I can see it now, Adam Locke is sponsored by Acme Grass Dealers. Shame that Jonah left, sunbed shops and tanning cream suppliers would be queuing up to get their name associated with him!
