Quite probably is devalued now a days, EFM. Just like the Trophy. I mean, if the winners of the Ryman league (2003 / 4) can't muster up any more support than 3,000, what is the point.

 

Still, I'm sure they'll have some lessons regarding the difference between real support and Pikey support, next season.

Well it's only been the LDV (note spelling mr voice!) Vans Trophy for 4 seasons now - Blackpool have won it twice in that time (2002 and 2004).

As it goes nobody has won the English League Associate Members Trophy (to give it it's full name) three times. A number of teams have won it twice however. As well as Blackpool, Bristol City, Stoke City and Port Vale have walked up the Wembley (or Millenium Stadium) steps on 2 occasions. So there you go.

Not quite, we made to the heady delights of the 2nd round before going out to Kings Lynn who won 2-0.

Actually Simon, the pitch looks quite good in that picture. And what with the renovations beng done to the club house and ground, everything is going be "top banana" for the new season.

Not really as we had a bye to the 2nd Round on the strenth of us finishing 4th the previous season .... if fact as you started in the 1st round it must of meant that we finshed above you for the last two seasons .... and we will next as well <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
