I' a bit miffed that a player who had been at the club for a bit longer wasn't made captain !

Can't see Bertie jumping at the chance to play under GB ! I am chuffed he's staying i hope he get's his chance because as i make no qualms of saying his confidence is all that's missing. A player needs encouragement something that Mr Hill is more likely to show. Gav curbed his temper and has become a solid, reliable player. No reason the 'Bert' won't.

 

Dissapointed about Taff <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> well not about more with !

 

It might not be a matter of loyalty the Captains Armband and of course we all back Captain McCarthy and the 'Gaffa', maybe it's me being way to sentimental.

Have to say you have the strongest squad in the league. Many good ex pro's in there with pleny of experience and ability.

 

Can only see promotion for Hornchurch.

From what I heard player and agent were primarily interested in money so Ricky told 'em to sling their hook. Disappointing for things to come to that, particularly for a player of Brayley's quality...but as Uncle said, if only he'd calm down a little!

The odds are pretty crap anyway. Hornchurch and Weymouth are joint favourites to win the Connie South so if you put a tenner down you'd only likely to get £20 back at most!

 

Regarding Brayley not surprised at the above statement. Quality player but his attitude stinks. Really needs to sort this out for him to progress.
