Okay Thornsy, I bit the bullet and bought Original Pirate Material for £3.99 in the HMV (shh, don't let them know I still shop there!) Sale.

About two-thirds of the way through at the moment - all pretty same-y. Let me see if I've got this right...

"Drugs are good. Alcohol is bad."

Yep, think I've got the hang of it!!

Sorry mate - this is absolute sh*t.

If anyone wants it, let me know and I'll bring it with me to Sutton on the opening day.

Tried loads of peoples names and most of them come up with nothing, except of course yourself and Trev who have very common names.

Couldn't find any mention of the infamous Thorns anywhere, only one I could find is this - Swot!!

TOP PUPILS GET BLAIR AWARD;

SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO DO WELL IN EXAMS WILL RECEIVE PERSONAL TRIBUTE FROM TONY BLAIR

BYLINE: Richard Garner

BODY:

Britain's brainiest school-kids could soon be celebrating their success at an Oscar-style ceremony.

High-flying sixth-formers will receive a personal tribute from Tony Blair at the academic awards.

And youngsters who overcome learning difficulties to get good A-levels will also receive a well-done letter from the Prime Minister.

The awards night is being seen as a vital part of the government's crusade to introduce a new culture of celebrating success in state schools.

It follows Mr Blair's proposals to give knighthoods to teachers who have had the most success in turning round performances in their schools.

The plan was put forward by Britain's biggest exams board, the Associated Examining Board, which already hands out medals to its most successful students.

Board spokesman George Turnbull said last night: "We felt that if Mr Blair was going to reward teachers, why can't he do it for the students.

"It wouldn't only be for pupils with the highest marks but for those who had made the most progress in overcoming learning difficulties." The scheme, which could be in place by next summer, is based on an American project where top students get a letter of commendation from Bill Clinton.

Downing Street officials have said Mr Blair is "very interested" in the idea which has also been welcomed by education and business chiefs.

BT boss Bill Coburn said: "We've got to learn to crow about our successes a bit more.

"People don't seem to celebrate achievement enough in this country."

A-level student David Kendell, 18, from St John Lawes school, in Harpenden, Herts, yesterday received the top academic award from the Associated Examining Board.

Couldn't agree more mate. At John's flat the other day, Sniffer put on one of their CD's. Seemed to me that the first track lasted about 30mins. I couldn't believe it when I looked at the CD player and it said track 7.
Well dull, and hardly what you want to hear before going out for a night on the beers.
