Incident on Underground

Libro's texted me saying there's been a big (HUGE?) incident on the London Underground this afternoon, and loads of stations have been closed.

 

Looked on bbc.co.uk and nothing on there, and Libro also has a slight tendency to exaggerate - anyone heard anything??

The Central Line has delays occurring in both directions.

 

This will affect journeys from 13:18 on 01/07/04 until further notice. This is due to a person under a train at Oxford Circus Station.

 

There were a lot of stations closed yesterday though.

I really hate those selfish inconsiderate egotistical bstards who top themselves by jumping under a tube in the rush hour - or any other time.

 

If they want to do it, all very sad but go and do it where it won't disrupt many thousands of people going about their business.

 

Of course today's deceased may not have topped him/herself but just fallen off the platform. Clumsy git.

If I were to ever top myself, I'd want it to be at the maximum disruption to other people's lives as a final 'up yours' to all those [****!!****] who are making my life a misery.

 

I'd probably chain myself to an H-bomb or something.

Apologies for all the excitement yesterday, although the policeman at the gates of Oxford Circus, did describe it as a 'major incident' and there were a stupid amount of police cars and ambulances
