Rules for pre-season fixtures

Recommended Posts

Hi EFMTFTV.

You must be psychic.

I see that Watford 1st team are to play Northwood in a PSF as part of the deal where The Hornets signed one of their players and 'Wood have made the game all ticket with a maximum capacity of 2000. Ticket prices are £7 and £3 concessions.

I haven't applied for a ticket, of course. I think we play their Rezzies that evening.

So our (10,000 ÷ 5) gate that night will probably be affected. Many of the hoards who were planning to travel may decide that Northwood is closer to Watford and watch that game instead. How fortunate, that the attendance is limited to 2,000.

So Watford first team are playing a match at Northwood, roughly two miles down the road? (About 2 miles anyway, my brain was pretty messed up by that stage of the walk!)

The same night, we are playing a Watford XI (youth, then) at Clarence Park, and charging an extra £3 to that which Northwood are charging.

St Albans vs Watford XI: It's gonna be HUGE.

I think the subs rule is a FIFA / UEFA directive that reaches all the way down to us as ref's have to apply the laws correctly and not according to the occassion to maintain their markings. There was an item in this weeks NLP. Players who should be sent off will be rather than substituted.
