You see what you "Albans" have done, you have woken the sleeping giant. He was having a close season nap and then you lot come around.

They were 50th in the book. Bloody hell, can't even do well in that.

As for "t shirt wearing Neanderthals"...A bit harsh doncha think? I mean some of 'em have quite a decent taste in music...."Albans" that is, not the Neanderthals.

Sorry Andy, I think this thread has drifted again. Quality mugs by the way. I particularly like the photo with the players celebrating on the Wembley pitch. Yes that's right Canvey, THE WEMBLEY PITCH!!!

No that was the point gazza!

Making the semi of that compertition is a better acheivement than winning the other ........ geeez, keep up!

We've never needed to enter the vase, I'm sure if we had we'd won it several times!

 

The wembley pitch was very good in them days Ryan, not so good these days with all them Ryman Div 1 games and reserve fixtures and youth games, cuts up a bit in the goalmouth.

Give us 4 seasons in the vase and we would of beat your record!

 

It's a bit like Blackpool banging on to somebody like Birmigham City about winning the LDV trophy a couple of times, they aren't comparable!

 

Losers, not quite - By not ever being low enough to compete in the Vase - Winners!

Bit of a stupid comment really considering that they only chance your team will ever get to compete in that is by getting relegated down to Ryman 1.....Oh yeah right, sorry....We do but hope.

Anyway, a bit over confident aren't we EFM? Considering you only just got through to Conference South... Hoping that your team may over perform for one season and not end up in the bottom half of that league?

Well Birmingham have actually won the trophy - back in the early 90s as I remember. Sorry, will stop being pedantic now.....
