Have a cup of tea and chill out (hey! if you're short of a mug)

I had a cuppa tea out of one of those EFM mugs. It's a special mug as you know. When you lift it, it shouts out phrases such as "You Essex w*nker" and "Where did that stone come from?" But the odd thing about this mug, is if you speak back to it, it instantly leaves a brown stain around the rim!

The "stone" mystery has been cleared up Ryan. Apparantly it was some debris from a passing comet. Of course, like any "heavenly" body falling onto the Earth, some sub life forms can be threatened with extinction when they land...Hmmm, perhaps we should blame God for failing in this instance. Or perhaps it was an "act of God".

This puts to rest the theory that the said life form was effected by some strange cosmic event that threw him into a time vortex, propelling him through tiime and space into the ground at the exact second the said "stone" was launched. The impact obviously had a reverse effect, returning the said life form back to whence he came in time and space. I must point out that this was only a theory but quite possible as New Lodge is built on land where lay lines cross. This may explain many incidents that have happened down at the club with opposing supporters..."The Incident Of The Rogue Umbrella That Attacked A Aldershot Supporter" is one of the many strange incidents that can be atributed to this phenomenon.

And they say I take the X Files too seriously....

I take it by all the interest from supporters from Canvey and St Albans on this topic that you will be buying some of these special commerative mugs to celebrate us winning the Vase 3 times a record to this date which has not been beaten.

How many non league FA Competitions have you won !!!!.

Let's keep this topic football related, thanks.

of course it is. other you could claim that a team who won their Sunday league 5 years running is a bigger achievement than England winning the world cup once.

to be in the Vase in the first place you have to be pretty sh*t. Decent clubs compete in the Trophy.

baiting?

It's fact - to win the Egg Cup you play park and village teams, The Dog and Duck in round 1, Kimpton in round 2, The Crow and Badger in round 3, Heybridge Swufts reserves in round 4 and all of a sudden you're in the final to be played at Harringay Boroughs ground in front ot 200 people .... and then bang on about it for 25yrs!

We have never been that low to compete in the egg cup

To win the solid gold champions trophy or Splendid creme de la creme amautur cup (to give both trophys thier full title) we have to play the likes of Halifax, Man Utd and Barnet over 6 legs, in fact in our 4 semi final apperences we have lost to the odd goal in 3 to Real Madrid in front of 120,000 in that stadium in Mexico!
