A disgrace by a council

Today, i have been down to the garden of england, well Gillingham FC shop, then on to Canterbury, then To Margate for an hour. I went to Hartsdown Road the Home of Margate FC, and was a disgrace to see what state some clubs are in.

The ground now only consists of one stand, and a sign thanks to all supporters. The ground its self is a building site, and when i looked i could of cried.

 

I blame Hartsdown council in this, to let it get this far, and i really feel sorry for them.

 

is this the state and future of clubs in boroughs where the councils are only thinking of money.

I think you'll find that it's Thanet District Council involved in this fiasco BBB.

 

Makes your heart bleed don't it when there are so many councils, all over the country, fouling things up for hard working non-league football club personnel.

 

Why don't we all apply for charitable status as most of us only just scrape by on supporter donations to help us exist anyway?

Doesn't help matters when certain League authorities insist on 10 year minimum groundshare deals for homeless clubs desperately battling for survival. They should remember that they may soon have no League left at all if the growing number of nomadic clubs are driven to the wall by bureaucracy from within the game itself. More assistance all round wouldn't go amiss!

if u read the last post posted top gun, i was on family business. as my cusion just given birth to twins, which now happen to be my god children, and yes they where born in margate.
