Look. Suppose there are a couple of names of players that we are 'looking at' on the tour of Germany and the Low Countries. Drew Roberts. Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink. Stephen Gerrard. And suppose that Rob the Saint announces those names. And suppose that Roman Abramovich, when surfing these boards, spotted those names. What then Zealadan?

 

Well, he would probably be quite pleased that we are showing interest in Hasslebaink at £15 million, but he might increase his offers for Roberts and Gerard.

 

It's all easily explained, really.

 

It's also a bit of a tease which maintains interest. I reckon we should charter a couple of 747's and offer seats on E-bay.

The chap that takes the team-sheet from the manager to the referee 1 hour before kick-off isn't going, GHA, and neither is the chap who used to drive the red tractor, so goodness knows how they will deal with that issue [the team sheet issue that is, not the red tractor issue.]

 

The chap from Hull isn't going, neither is the Treasurer.

 

The Chairman of Vice IS going, and he is good value, as so is El Presidente, and he's good value, too. My source wasn't sure about Gibbo.

 

I don't know about the Safety Officer, the Chief Steward, the Bar Manager or her husband, the chap who does the P.A. or Sandra from the tea-bar.

 

Presumably, 2003/4 Ryman League passes aren't accepted at German grounds.
