According to this weeks Hornchurch Recorder Jon keeling has signed for canvey,theres no news of this anywhere else,anyone got any info? The Recorder is normally excellent for non league news so i assume its correct in its reporting.

If it is, excellent! The lad is superb. Great dribbling skills, very skillful. Will provide great width down the left. Surprised he is joining a Conference side as one of the main reasons why he left Hornchurch was he didn't want to go full time.

As far as i know, the announcement is being delayed till his contract with Hornchurch runs out, which will be in a week or so. Training resumes tommorow so might be worth a visit to the ground to see if any new faces are present!! P.S. is Jon Keeling too small for the conference and will he be out-muscled?

As far as i know we are not going full time, we are just going to train 3x's a week. I think he will be good in the conference as he does have so much speed so hopfully those big bruising defenders wont get anywhere near him to push him off the ball. He also has some conference experience with dagenham i think?
