FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH

One club voted against the Constitution of the Ryman League at their AGM last night in protest at the way Enfield Town were treated by that League.

Needless to say, that club look forward to welcoming its friends from ETFC on Saturday, 7th August.

(but hey! - this time next year, you'll be looking forward to life in the Southern League ... <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)

Interesting write up on your post on the Ryman Premier forum IW.

So Nick Robinson was voted out!! Looks like some of the Ryman clubs finally apportioned blame for the various fiascos the powers that be have put them through this last year or so .....

Jim, according to the Isthmian accounts - half of the debt went to pay off Turvey's redundancy in March 2003 - ex-gratia payments circa £19k.

The rest on a big increase in admin costs following the departure of the very efficient/popular Clive Moyse & the early legal bills.

Losses for 2004 without the £60K levy applied to clubs to be over £100K.

Looks like they could do with Mr Lazarou's business acumen at Ryman HQ. God 'elp 'em!

More and more people will realise what I always said, that we are better without getting involved with them at this stage of our existance.
