Chemo auction

Recommended Posts

Good to hear Squadron Leader is back home after her latest treatment. During the half time interval of the Potters Bar Town v Enfield Town friendly on Thursday 5th August, we will be auctioning a limited edition David Beckham Sportscell. We would like to donate the proceeds from this auction to the Chace Farm Chemo Unit. I know that many of our ETFC friends have already helped to support this worthy cause and hope that this will give more of you a chance to do the same.

It's a sort of framed montage of Beckham action shots from his Man.Utd., Real Madrid & England days. Unfortunately, it isn't autographed but it is a Limited Edition and has a market value well into three figures. As the auction will probably start at £5 or £10 it can still be a bargain for someone whilst making some money for the Chemo Unit.

No. But if I happen to bump into ex-Spurs and current QPR goalkeeper Chris Day between now and August, I'll ask him if he has any spare copies of an old Ridgeway Rovers YFC team shot with both himself and Beckham in. I think Beckham was at Ridgeway pre-Brimmo but I may be wrong.

happy; maybe it's because he played for the ridgeway rovers longer than brimmo before moving on to tottenham training, man. u Juniors, etc.
It was actually the WHOLE Ridgway team which went to Brimsdown, and changed their name to Brimsdown Rovers. technically, he did not leave Ridgway Rovers. His Dad was quite a regular at Brimsdown, even after he became a Man.U superstar. Not sure if he still goes there, as it was about 7 years ago when my son left Brimsdown.

What a Gentleman you are PBTFC. Thanks very much for the good wishes & fine Gesture of the Auction. The more funds we can raise for the Chemo Unit at Chase Farm the better.

I am really hoping that I can get to as many Pre-season games as possible, but it all depends on my Blood Count.

Any way, here hoping.

Many thanks yet again.
