Rudi Hall and Simon Miller have rejoined ETFC.

Great news!

ETFC are looking pretty strong for the start of next season (certainly alot stronger than the start of last season). As I understand it the only notable absentee is John Ridout with John Everitt, Rudi Hall, Simon Miller and Matt Negus coming back to the fold and Lee Harvey joining us.

 

With Smith, Cove & Clarke vying for a position in the forward line, changes to teams left in the ESL, and a better playing surface at the Brimmobeu things are really looking up!

Personally I reckon Danny Clarke will not appear in an ETFC shirt this season, he's probably going to bounce back to Ilford

 

Has Matty come back to the Town? Surely he'll have to see where he can get work and go from there

Pardon me for not joining in the euphoric mood here, but is this the same Rudi Hall who left under somewhat acrimonious circumstances? Is all forgiven and forgotten then? If so, we may as well add Mr Bunn to the fold as well.

 

One things for sure though, with Rudi and Brad Quinn in the side, Andy should run a sweep on how many matches we'll finish with eleven players on the pitch.

Rudi deserves to be given the same opportunity as Bradley B, who is a reformed character.

Rudi Hall has a suspension at the start of next season although we have appealed against it on his behalf. When the outcome of the appeal is known, we would obviously expect him to clear his financial responsibilities to us before we allow him to join another club. I'll keep Peter Coath informed.

Its good to see Lee Harvey Turning out for us,

His experience Will be a valuable addition to the defence.Not so sure about Rudi though ,My suspition is he's still a Bad Boy.

I just hope that Matt Negus, Daniel Francis and Carey Wright are signed up for ETFC by the time the season starts.

 

Gant Snowden Harvey Negus - that's a decent back 4 at this level.

 

Wright, Everitt, Brotherton, and I'd put Cove in midfield.

 

Smith and Clarke up front.

 

And some talent on the bench - no jokes pls!! Kevin Riley, Rudi Hall, Daniel Francis, Graeme Hall, Lee Digby, Steve Baldwin, Simon Miller - all good players. Doubt if we can hold onto them all.

 

And unlike Southport, I think Daniel Clarke will stay - and I think he will have a great season.

 

What else has Jim Chandler got in store for us I wonder?!
