Ryman & FA responses to my e-mail

I've recived this e-mail from the FA this morning. nothing recieved from the Ryman muppetts as yet though!

 

Hi Steve

 

Further to your email, The FA cannot accept complaints from anyone not connected

in an official capacity with Enfield Town FC.

 

I have however been informed that it is the AGM of the Isthmian League (Ryman)

that will determine who is elected into that competition for next season. I

understand that this is to take place this week. So far, there is only a

recommendation from the Board of Directors of the League as to membership for

next season. Once the member clubs have voted on their constitution for next

season, this is final and binding and I do not believe that there is an appeal

process against a decision from an AGM.

 

I would recommend first awaiting the decision of the AGM. Until then, no

official decision has been made.

 

Should you be unhappy with the decision I would recommend you liasing with

Enfield Town directly to see if they will be making a complaint.

Let's take the ESL by storm - mind you we could do with one to water the pitch!

Stuff the Isthmian League.

 

Even if they came begging for us to join, their dishonaourable behaviour does not warrent us taking a place in their Mickey Mouse organisation.

 

It is obvious they wanted us becasue we have a lage, loyal support base, that can build a ground in a year, and take over 120 supporters to most away games... well they don't deserve they level of support in IL

I'm looking forward to visiting more ESL grounds next season. Having lived abroad since the great ETFC's inception, I feel I've missed out a bit! Sounds a bit cheesy, but I'm really looking forward to next season when I can see and support my great team every week.

 

There's only one team in Enfield! ETFC
