The AGM/Tomorrow's meeting

Matt, I would hope that notes from the AGM will be made available on the Trust website, and also notes from the meeting being held tomorrow between members of the newly elected STST board and members of the council would also appear on the site and also come out in the newsletter along with a copy of the signed accounts for the past season.

Just a thought, Gary. Were you intending to make the 'signed accounts' available on the website?

If so, I'm not sure this is a good idea. Obviously, as a trust, the annual accounts must be available to the Trust members - at least at the date of the AGM - but I am not sure it is a good idea to 'publish' them. While the Trust will have nothing to hide, there is no need to allow all and sundry to see how much money we have in the bank!

(Sorry, don't have any legal knowledge to impart on the matter, just general vibes I picked up while acting as a (former) charity trustee.)

NB - I realise that the way you worded your sentence, the accounts were to be distributed with the newsletter, not put on the website, but I thought I'd ask the question anyway.

PJ - The accounts would only go out to trust members in a mailshot to all trustee's. When sent out in July, a copy of the signed accounts will be accompanied with an STST newsletter. The figures will not be publically available on the STST website.
