Well, i listened to the Jodi Mitchel one first, as you said. i thought that it was very good, although i couldn't make out what she was saying in some (most of the songs), but she has a very good voice, and the music is really good as well. Like you said, it just washes over you, and is very peaceful. i think my favourite one is the captain one and my least favourite is the Ricjard song.

 

The Stone Roses surprised me. I thought they were going to be really loud and fast and have a massive bass to them, but they didn't. They had a 60/70's feel to them (rather like some Beetles songs). They were good though.

 

Then i listened to your Now 85 and Now 86 albums!!!!! I really like Level 42 (they have a track on each album!!!!!) and all the other tracks brought so many memories back of the good old times!!!! (I know i was 3 and 4 in 85 and 86, but i do have memories from back then (mainly of nursery school, but still...!!!!!!!!)
