Just to say that I stood on the centre spot of the New Wembley stadium on Monday. The arch should be in position today and its bloody impressive. Anybody who said that the old stadium should have been revamped really needs to see this when its completed. The amazing thing is, that where the centre circle will be when completed will be another 6 foot below where I was standing. I tried to persuade some of the contractors to move to hartsdown but had no takers!!
