So the directors (whoever they are) dont like critism EH!!!. Well I dont like being lied to over the last couple of seasons!! The club have had money of me via bricks donations bucket collectionsETC ETC. Last season they sold me a season ticket under false pretences I.E how long we would be at Dover.6 matches was the promise maximum!!! Now I am being told to be patient .I will be happy to come forward and identify my self at a public enquiry into this fiasco providing the person who gave permission to demolish Hartsdown and dig up the pitch is also there identified!!! Until then I am afraid after 45yrs I will not support MARGATE FC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

another long term fan of more than 20 years. this club has now turned into a farce. bunch of jokers. i am ending my support until there is a serious change of attitude and some serious work at hartsdown.

Why don't people stop whinging on this site. The club, I'm sure, have released news in the past, that at the time they believed to be correct. I think that at times they have been a bit over optomistic but some of the things that have happened have been down to other parties. What supporters have been asking for over the last few weeks is What news is there? That is a fair question, we all want to know.However what was asked last week by one person was for them to make a statement, even if it only states that there is no news at this time. Yesterday the club did just that. They state that they do not want to report anything that is not factual and state they will release information when it is. This will stop what has occured in the past of reporting what they hope is going to happen rather than what is actually happening. However people on this forum are still not happy with that stating that the club are patronising. The club have done what you have asked. I do not find the comments patronising but honest. People have made derogatory comments about individuals on this Forum without any realfacts. JP was one of those people but nobody knows how much money he put in before he left. Other people have been targeted and the latest KP who was everybodys hero a few weeks ago for saving the club and fighting on with the ground. Before people judge me I am nothing to do with the club but just a supporter of over 30 years.

This hypersensitivity to criticism is nothing new. The fact is such whining makes the club look childish and silly. And I type as someone who has made substantial donations to the SOS Fund.

To margateshot.I read what you say and its well known that the blame for all this delay etc I lay at the hands of the council and not the club. Therefore my e.mails to the club for ANY information was solely for us, the fans to be kept informed and I dont see any reason why we shouldn' be.Yes, we got an answer that nothings happening in the way we wish but that behind the scenes they are. Thats enough for me at the moment even though I am not completely satisfied. I for one havent blamed the club at any time even though they may have cocked up at times. My e.mails were accompanied by my address and name so I haven't contacted them anonymously myself.I havent spoken out against KP as I believe without him we wouldn't still be a club. Others may have, but all told we are just fed up with getting no information at all. Perhaps if the club kept us up to date with ANY movement on a weekly update it would please most.It has been the long length of time since we heard from them previously that has got our backs up. And for them to speak to us and about us in the way they have just smacks in our faces and their statement was not warranted in the way they that they put it.They must learn quickly and understand that once we do get back home it will be us they will be wanting to enter the ground for revenue.We are not second rate citizens and idiots. We would like to be appreciated more by the club and their tone is way over the top and way out of order.Yes we got something out of them but without us pestering them, would we have had that at this point. I doubt it.It is now time to put our frustrations to the side now that something has come out but if their ignorance for the loyal fan is misplaced again and we are ignored for a length of time again we will be back I'm sure of that. Lets hope the club see our reasons, our dismay, our frustrations, our want to get up and going again and do keep us informed more at regular intervals.We are still on the same side but the club are putting the split between club and fans, we are not!

To COOKIE. Thanks for the reply. Its was good to see that we both want the same thing and do not have to revert to abusing each other on this Forum. I have followed Margate for about 25 years and am desperate for some positive news. As everyone else I log on day after day hoping for some information. I can only hope that with time getting on for the new season that some news must be in the offing. There was a comment on here a few days ago stating that a lot is going on in the background , so lets hope that its not too long. [color:"red"] [/color] [color:"red"] [/color]
