At other clubs there would have been much more disquiet from the fans. I think the club have got off lightly.

I feel that the news emphasised two major points

 

1. that it had listened to our calls of news for news sake, thus saying, yes we are working on things, but there isnt really anything to say, and in fairness that is kind of what we have been asking for.

 

2. and this is a 2. however, the manner in which the news was written is only done so in a manner that evokes a position that they look down upon us as a fan base, if we were Manchester United then this maybe viable, but when your Margate with crowds around the 1000 mark at Hartsdown, surely the more supporters on board the better, and they should look to accomadate that.

a totally rude and unneccesery statement who the hell do they think has been keeping the money coming in for 2 bloody frustrating years. all we want is to be kept up to date.we have been told bare faced lies and half truths and now we get we wont sey anything till it is set in stone what rubbish and we are expected to buy season tickets.well goodbye mfc thats 42 years of support just gone out the window i feel very strongly being told my opinion is not wanted or nesccesary

I agree that SOME news is all we were asking for though nothing in concrete(excuse the pun)has come out.The club have nothing solid to give us but I was under the impression that dropping a league would in turn bring about a start on the ground. So now we are self-relegated but for what? This surely was to get back home so I am bewildered as to why nothing solid has been said or done. Sounds like the club are still no further forward than before.Its all up in the air still and their sarcastic remarks are not warranted.We have been led to believe that things would be up and running but they are still nowhere forward than before if you read what they say. We have a right to ask, to comment, to query and I find their statement very offensive. How many more years do they need. Well the season will be upon us real soon so solid news will probably be heard the day before the first match no doubt. It will HAVE to come out then. Come on margate f.c. you can surely do better than that that you have stated. Something positive should have been sorted by now and released to us, the fans who pay every game during the season.Not ALL games but a majority of them.

But going back to the statement at least they say things are still happening behind the scenes and that in itself is more than we have had of late.It wasn't that hard margate f.c. was it to just give us something. Though still not satisfied it will now at least get us/me of your backs.But dont leave it so long again or we might just return to start all over again.I know I will.

A very rude news update indeed it gives the impression that there is some kind of hate campaign against the club which is far from the truth.I belive the fans have had the patients of 300 saints over the last two and a half years!

As i've just heard on kmfm the club will be making a statement next week in time with the conference south fixtures.

Why didn't the just say this in the news update!!!!!!

ive had enough of it. this kind of rudeness has put my back up. we get told lies and moe lies and they beg for our money, then they tell us we cant have our own opinions. my reply is "f*** off" and run for your money and support. im not going until they change their attitude. i thought it weould change when jp left but its got even worse. and thats saying something. any i think we deserve an apology for that offensive news article. how can they talk to their customers like a piece of s***?
