Just the main stories in the local friday rag. CK handed new budgets and is suprised that they are near last years.CK is already talking to players. LEON COULD RETURN IN GAAAAAAAAAAAATE REVOLUTION? CK said its no secret i talk to Leon, and he regrets his decision to leave the Gaaaaaaaaaate. Ck states that as a norm he does not sign many players though with this seasons problems he as to rebuild. Bill E and John K are the only to players who have so far spoken to him about committing to the club. He also said (quote) Where we are is amazing considering the troubles weve been through. We could easily have been like Telford and dropped down a few divisions-people have got to appreciate what Keith Piper has done for the club. It is easy to critisise and to be fair i was down after we took demotion, but know i cant wait to get going. Just thought i would give you a n idea as to what was in the local as you live out of the area. Come on the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE upwards and onwards again. <img src="/images/graemlins/achso.gif" alt="" />

Think your post is just in time before many Margate fans commit suicide, or more seriously get real wander off syndrome

Blueblood you forgot to mention the letters on page 11 where it is said that at a recent meeting with the League the Chairman very publicly stated that no blame lies with the council for their situation

Yes missed that. The letter didnt say anything about help and support though. Thought the article on the back page where a judge castigated the TDC planners for the way they dealt with a minor offence of raising one part of a garden and lowering the other(do we know someone else who as to do that to a pitch)part to level it. The judge said that tdc had cost the tax payers plus defendant 40,000 pounds on a case that would have been laughed out of court. He also said any one who critsises the EC for unnecessary red tape should look at the tdc planning department. So could our chairman who ever he is not be crawling or bowing as he steps back from the heat of the fire to give the development a better, quicker chance of a satisfactory conclusion. Come on the gaaaaaaaaate onwards and upwards next season.
