UNCERTAIN FUTURE

I have supported the club for more than forty five years.Ihave kept quiet through all this,but can hold back my views no longer!! KP has brainwashed and convinced everyone(I include myself)into believing it is the fault of the Big Bad Thanet District Council that the club are in such a mess.Lack of support,obstacles in the way,etc etc .You all know the speel,heard it so many times!A few months ago the council were involved in discussions with the Supporters Club.and the League.Who instigated these discussions originaly is not clear.But I believe that in the case of the Council and the Supporters Club.they were to safe guard the name of Margate football Club.But KP got on his high horse convinced every one that messrs Cox,Day and co were undermining everything he was trying to achieve,they wanted to take over the Club,Blah,Blah,blah.,and made them out to be arch enemies of what was right!!.Consequently.the people running the Supporters Club withdrew from whatever they were in volved in with the Council.and offered their total support for the Club,KP and all he was trying to achieve!! All fans were encouraged to do the same GET BEHIND KP SAVIOUR OF THE STADIUM. GET BEHIND THE CLUB ETC ETC ETC .We all know whats happened.Without any opposition KP has completely messed it all up by himself!!!!! I wiil probably be told it is wrong to criticise him, we should all still stick by him,but we have done for years and where has it got us?I cannot see what harm can be done by voicing our opinions and questioning his under achievements in all this.Ater all because of his other private business problems(which should not be discussed here)he cannot be in any sort of position in the make up of the club I.E. Chairman Director etc.So if he was to give up and go fair enough.I know over the years he has probably kept the club afloat and credit muust be given to him for doing this!!But right now I believe the Club are so short of cash people havent been paid no work on clearing the ground can start etc etc.And I hate to say this it is only my opinion that him still being involved is the one major obstacle in some one comming in and helping us .Of coutse i could be totally wrong.We have all heard the rumours about a new Chairman taking over.but it is only rumours.Things have happened lately a board meeting of the club where it was well publicised the whole future of the Club would be sorted, the AGM of the Conference, but what info from the club have we had NOTHING AT ALL .Some sort of press release should be issued if only to say things are dodgy at the moment but hopefull things will improve.Just be honest with us KP and put a stop to all the rumours you ,ust be aware of which are circulating I for one think we are in very grave danger of losing the nameMARGATE FOOTBALL CLUB the very thing others may have been trying to preserve a few months ago.I know I have made some strong statements and accusations (if I have upset or offended any one,then tough luck .It is how I see it.I think maybe I have voiced the opinions of others. Any one agree or disagree??

AT LAST WE CAN SEE THE LIGHT. COMPLETELY AGREE AND YOU PUT IT BETTER THAN I COULD! HAVE FELT THIS WAY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW.
