East Thurrock have signed a load of players including ex Town midfielder Paul Linger, former loanee Gary Dixon, Vinnie John and a keeper called Glen Knight.

 

Hendon have appointed Tony Choules (ex Northwood) as manager...

 

and Northwood have appointed some bloke called Mick Harvey as their new boss.

 

Basically though not much is happening.... yet!

no real surprise to see the likes of john and linger put the size of their paypackets ahead of any footballing ambition. i'm sure both could've (and should've??) done better than ryman div 1 or whatever it is now.

 

even when you've got a bit of cash to spend its important you dont let potential players take the pi*s out of you. If all they want is a potload of cash and have no desire to play for the club then f*** em....thats what i say

And f**k the leaching agents as well. to many of them put cash 1st...not what is best for their player.

 

To many players are not fulfilling their ambitions as footballers coz their agent wants them to go here or go there for an extra 25/30 quid.

OK the agent gets a bit more commission but the player may travel an extra 50 miles 3 times a week and loose out.....Agents..Greedy c....'s

 

One I know, would sooner see their player rot in the stand and not play, all season, but get paid, rather than encouraging/allowing him to take a step back, which in turn would allow the player to take two steps forward.

 

Non League, and Non League footballer's would benefit from a World without Football agents.

Ex-Billericayite Gary Waters has gone to Barking.

 

Kingstonian manger Kim Harris has as yet not got any players for next season, and can't even contact his chairman. Apparently he's "worried" !

Our old mates at Havant have signed well known top striker and cavorter with women of ample proportions Dean Holdsworth....Lock up your daughters lads!!
