ESL Season

When does the season start and when can we expect the fixtures to be issued.

 

Or, will things be held up due to the ETFC situation.

 

If they subsequently, do still get THE invite as suggested elsewhere, would there be any sanctions as they would have to quit the ESL after the AGM and hence new constitution has been determined.

is it also possible once all the problems regarding etfc are sorted that we can have a league fixture list for the entire campaign rather than month to month format we currently use, most other leagues at our level and above know there league campaign at the start of season

Could Mr Chairman let us know if we will be playing each other 3 times next season or whether the league cup will return to a league basis at the first stage.

i agree with the set of fixtures for the full season being given in advance!

It won't happen while ETFC are in the League. Because they groundshare with Brimsdown Rovers, Enfield Town's fixtures cannot be produced until Brimsdowns are known and the SSML fixtures are only produced monthly. This is as annoying for SSML clubs as it is for yourselves.

I have to say it is farcical a league the size of the SML only bringing its fixtures out on a monthly basis. Why do they do that?

It would be good to have all the fixtures produced at one lump. Sorry tho cant believe we were penalised for the fixture bit. If we had the Ryman fixtures for the year it would have been easier for the SML to work round them.

So here's a nice paradox!

The Ryman league DO issue fixtures for a season which would mean SSML would have to fall in line (it certainly wouldn't be the otherway round!)

Therefore, if they would have to do it for them, what's to stop them from doing it for the ESL????

Annually produced fixtures make far more sense - quick reasons off the top of my head - planning, sponsor deals, holidays, travel everyone (in theory at least) would finish the season at the same time!

Come on ESL at least give us that!!!
