Looking Forward to Next Season

Well that seems to be settled then. I think we should forget about the Ryman and get on with thinking about winning the ESL.

 

I did have a peculiar feeling about the move as we did not deserve it last season. You cant change leagues without promotion. Only Arsenal have ever done that!

 

I look forward to sponsering two games again next year Mr Gold. And London Apsa I am sure we can do some business again next season.

But the mighty Gooners move had true comedy value snatching right from under that horrible white shirted bunch.

Many,Many other clubs have moved leagues over the years as new leagues have been formed with just an invite being enough.

Indeed, for most of its history, there was no promotion or relegation to or from the Isthmian League. Clubs just resigned, often but not always because they turned professional and joined the Southern League, or they were invited to join.

So that's it! The Ryman League were scared that ETFC were going to turn professional and leave them in their wake!
