Can I change the subject and impart some interesting news ... Mark Jenkins has moved from Bssildon United to Concord Rangers as Manager and John Doyle has returned from Bowers to take his place at Basildon United along with a grand "old" face of ESL football - John Bennett - so successful in the past with Woodford Town and the brilliant Loughton Athletic side of the 80's. Welcome back John !

You are obviously referring to their 'wind up the ref' and 'Garry Owen' approach to the beautiful game.

 

I wonder how many of the 2003/4 Concord squad will be happy to play that style.

 

It doesn't seem to fit in with my recollections of the Boro games against them in recent seasons!
