DEFINITELY CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!

 

OASIS have confirmed details of their tenth anniversary reissue of 'DEFINITELY MAYBE’.

 

The group release ‘Definitely Maybe – The DVD’ on September 6. The audio version, including rare vinyl only track ‘Sad Song’, is accompanied by four hours worth of archive and new footage.

 

Also included is an hour-long documentary about the recording of the album featuring interviews with the band, label and friends. There’s also a number of live and TV performances of ‘Definitely Maybe''s tracks.

 

 

Sounds good! I reckon this will be the only Oasis release this year, it doesn't look like we'll see an album anytime soon <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> It goes some way to compensating I suppose.

I wonder if they'll be doing any more live dates, excluding the ones we know about, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of DM. I hope so, I tried to get tickets for the Bournemouth date but failed and I'm gutted about it. Plus, I want to see how this new drummer shapes up and how he affects the bands dynamics- should be interesting!

Damn!! I thought you were going to say you had a release date for the new album. Hope they're doing some live dates although I'm tempted to watch a gig abroad. I'm pissed off with some of the complete morons who turn up at Oasis gigs and spoil it for all the others!

I remember when i saw Oasis live at Earls Court and me and my friend were right at the front!!!!!!! It was brilliant, and was so funny when Noel was taking the p1ss out of one of the blokes in the crowed. However, i think some of us actually thought there was going to be a classic Oasis fight, as Noel got really p1ssed off with this guy shining a laser pen in his eye.

 

Why do such twats have to do such pathetic things. Could have really damaged his eyes.

I remember one of the kids at City shining a laser pen in one of the players' eyes once.

 

Seem to recall Thornsy falsely got the blame for that one as usual. Think the complaint was made by the same female who accused him of making racist comments at Canvey.

I only saw Oasis once, but it was at Knebworth and it was very good. I'm leaving Festies out this year but will probably do a couple next year. I am going to look at Hultsfred, Roskilde, T in The Park (well Scotland is a foreign country) or Coachella.
