From Erith And Belvedere....

 

KEVIN HALES has left Southern League Division One East outfit Erith & Belvedere after only eight games as manager, writes Stephen McCartney.

 

The former Chelsea and Orient player, who joined the Deres in March, has left to join ambitious club Hornchurch as assistant manager to former Dagenham & Redbridge boss Garry Hill, who took charge of the Conference South outfit last month.

 

Hales' made an impact in the very short space of time whilst in charge at Park View Road. Despite losing his first two games in charge, he brought in nine new players, which produced much improved performances from the players he had inherited.

 

The club will now be looking for their fourth manager - after Mike Acland, Micky Cloke, and Hales - in only six months.

Seems acording to Unc on the Confsouth.com forum that Mark Venus is set to join Hibs for a "mad figure" so this would make sense !

kevin hasn't signed for us as yet...as I understand matters he's coming into the club tommorrow to see both Garys....

Mark Venus will probably go to Hibs....as long as they pay up as required...

 

Kevin will prove a more than able replacement....

 

I'm a little annoyed about MV as he was happy to sign for us 6 weeks ago.....thats football I suppose....

 

anyway....we've also never heard a word from DG so looks like he's off as well......silly boy.....no excuse for not returning fone calls and he aint going anywhere anyway until we get the required dosh for him as well.....

Yes please <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> We could do with another big name who can play football ! Whether it is that wholesome or not a big signing brings in the fans !

 

I'm not suggesting we buy Gasgoine but Rob Lee is still a top player !

 

We had Jonah then Keith getting Rob Lee would be a major coup !
