Costello In EFM Quit Shocker

EFM Leader Costello has sensationally quit EFM.

 

I spoke with Mr Costello a short while ago, and he confirmed to me that his days with EFM are indeed over.

 

He cites "travelling, university and girlfriend" as the three main reasons behind his decision to quit, although he also expressed disappointment in failing to pick up the Golden Brick award for the second year running.

 

Subsequent conversations with the rest of EFM have allied fears that the group are in crisis, and several members are confident they will be able to carry on as before, particularly as Costello had pretty much "lost it last season anyhow".

 

Sniffer Thorns is sure to be heading the list of names keen to take over as 'Top Boy', and current Brick holder The Hooded Man is likely to be in the running also.

 

All in all, it just goes to show that the older members of EFM were the more Rock'n'Roll all along.

It's clear to me that Costello is under the thumb of his girlfriend. She must have told him that's it unless he quits the firm and City and God knows what else.

 

It is unlikely that anyone else will follow suit.
