Claire, it's called the Colloseum and no it's nothing like the one in Watford.

 

As for 'Saving Up', I'm going to Rome and back next week with Ryanair for £54.77 return. I am staying with Friends but accomodation out there comes from as little as 70 Euros a night for decent hotel/B&B. Culture doesn't cost the earth you see.

When I said close, I meant: "lets move on to another topic". We havent't slagged of the supporters club committee for a while.

 

However, you are right about Ian. Have a word!

 

With the new "official" site, it is about time this one was ruled over by those who use it and stand up to the club, etc, etc.

here is a thought on the lines of a conspiracy theory, again. Can complaints from board users get people's status changed? Therefore if say an "unofficial" official was registered as a board user ( entirely within their rights) and complained about the moderators and maybe had several backers????

Demand a statement hang on an idea looms.....

Hmmm. The person you work with can't get cover?

 

Yet she/he works in a building society and will be entitled to 20+ days of holiday a year.

 

And having only been working there a matter of a few months, is the job really that specialised that he/she can't get a week off?

 

And when were you intending to go? Can he/she not get a single week off over the entire summer? I don't think so.

 

And you've suspected for a while that person may try and make an excuse to get out of going??

I don't think it is an excuse as such, they work in a building society and would need to get cover, but at the moment they say that they don't think they can get cover.

 

I work in an office, where i am the only person who knows my job and i can have a holiday without notice.

 

I remember what it was like at the hotel, when we had to organise cover, but i would have booked that week off months ago!!!!!!!

I've had my spot booked off since April, and they had to ask their superior/manager, who doesn't actually work there about the week off. They needed it authorised, but i guess 3 weeks before we're due to go is too late to ask, and not enough time to find a temp to cover - just how it goes i suppose. Still, maybe they'll be able to sort it out and i will be able to go on holiday in the end?!!!!
