Corfu/Kavos was good for me last year, but i woudn't go there again!!!!

 

Magaluf sounds like a laugh, so that's my destination this year (although is not my first choice obviously!!!!) Still at £150 4* accomodation, i can't complain!!!!!!! If i stay in Palma/Magaluf then we can still have the quiet and still walk a few metres to the noise in the evening!!!!!!!!

 

And remember, i never do class - I'm from Markyate!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Quite simply.

 

What differences do you expect to notice in Magaluf, compared to your holiday to Kavos?

 

If "Kavos was good last year, but [you] woudn't go there again", then why have you picked a resort which is identical??

The difference is that Kavos is in Greece, and magaluf is in Spain.

 

I wouldn't go to Kavos again because i don't want to keep going to the same county!!!!!!!!

 

I want to experience as many different countries as i can!!!! Granted these resorts are all similar and nearly everyone speaks English, but i can't afford to go on a big trip so i have to do small pathetic ones like these to "see the world"!!!!!!!!

Not really Claire, but next year, why not do a bit of independent travelling, go somewhere that Thomsons don't, just go for a weekend to somewhere like Barcelona or Rome and set it all up for yourself, it's easy, they're both great cities, have culture and a fair amount of places to drink. You'll be surprised with the difference.

For half of that, you can spend a weekend in Brussels, "say you've been to" Belgium, yet see some culture and history as well.

It's only costing me £150ish to go to Majorca. I think i'm wise enough i'll save up and go to Rome. I'd love to see that big building thing that was in Gladiator!!!!!!!!!
