If there's anyone on here who knows Steve, please pass on regards from the 6 SUFC fans who went to Calais for the Middlesex Wanderers game.

 

We had a good laugh with him and it was great to be acknowledged, I did have to correct him when he pointed out that perhaps they should be wearing a yellow & brown kit, come on Steve, chocolate and amber please!

Wardy is a great guy and looks like he is going to carry on playing for us next season.

Shame you guys can't join us in the Conference.

Telford and Margate's place should have been handed down to the runners up in the feeder Leagues (ie. Weymouth & Sutton)but sadly the Conference just want to keep its established teams there.

Good luck for next season and hope you will soon be joining us in the Conference.

Cheers, it is a shame but probably more prudent for us to be in the conf south for the present.

 

Assuming we manage to keep some of our youngsters we have a reasonable hope of the playoffs next season so you never know.....

 

Out of interest, a mutual former player, Danny Bolt, had a pretty good game and showed some of the touches that earnt him a good rep, probably not 100% fit but certainly didn't 'go missing'- Hopefully for him he regains the potential that he hasn't always lived up to.
