Roar roar the stadium grows loud,

More and more screaming comes from the crowd.

As the whistle starts the play,

The Rebels look for another win today.

 

We faced the Trams who beat us away,

But were now promoted, so not today.

 

Could be Hodges last ever game.

As his goals have given him new found fame.

He's running down the sidelines and spins off with such splendor,

He keeps going for the the goal only to be brought down by a defender.

 

Up steps Haddow from the penaly spot,

Can the keeper deny him, surely not?

Up he steps and shoots to the right,

Into the back of the net with so much might.

 

The Rebels have chances to score number two,

With chances falling to Miller; who again missed a few. ;-)

 

It was left to Chopper to put the ball in the net,

A low shot with his right foot is always a safe bet.

 

In the second Half Harris added number three,

Leaving the supporters faces with so much glee.

 

Late in the game the Trams pulled on back,

But the Rebels are promoted and are back on track.

 

A fine way to cap the seasons ender,

UP THE REBELS NO SURRENDER
