I woke this morning after a very fractured night's sleep to check why my house phone had rung very loudly at 4.03AM and then again at 6.50AM

 

Firstly, I found a message from the 4.03 AM caller that went something like this

 

"Oi Scarfers - I've called your phone to see which of you scarfers will be the first to answer it. I had a bet that it would be Libro at 2-1, Trevinho at 15-1 or any of you other scarfers at 21.5-1 (?) but I also had a bet that it would be the BT ansaphone at 18,000-1 and guess what? - It was - so I've got loads of money - YEAH"

 

The second call turned out to be the lawyer phoning our house in a vain attempt to get Trevinho to turn his [***!!***] alarm clock off - which he didn't, as usual <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

So I'm feeling rather tired and grumpy today.

How come he's suddenly getting drunk every night? Normally he just goes out, has one drink, and then cradles it for the rest of the night. I've never heard him sound properly drunk before, very odd.
