In Memory Of Len Dewson

As a constant reminder to everyone associated with BTFC of the unique contribution to our club made by the late Len Dewson, could consideration be given to naming part of the refurbished club house in his name (i.e. The Len Dewson Suite)? Given the countless hours Len spent within the very building fabric that is now receiving a much welcomed re-vamp, such a permanent tribute would be, in my humble opinion, a timeless way in which to honour his life and his unmatched devotion to Billericay Town Football Club.

I think that is a wonderful idea.

 

I would just like to say, many apologies to those that thought that this forum and the web site a bit slow in writing something on Fridays Service. I had various re writes but it stumped me as to what to write considering that Len was such a part of Billericay Town FC. In trying to be sensitive and true to his memory, writers block came in and played havoc as to what I thought would be a fitting tribute.

 

In the end, the Evening Echo provided much of the "inspiration". Again, apologies to those that knew and loved him better than I did.
