'Heavy Mob' required urgently at Brimdsown tonight

Recommended Posts

I must apologise for not being able to make an earthly appearance on sunday, but I was (unfortunately) working. I would very much like to help out, but I must con(seed) to the fact that unless the working day can be changed to a saturday, then I simply cannot rake it.

However, I would like to express my g-rake-fullness at the hard work being done on the pitch by all those concerened, and I very much believe this will help us out considerably next season.

oh Mr Poster, we are hurt and offended, by those cruel comments.

ETFC are still officially part of ESL, I believe, as we have not resigned, and we have not been offically voted into Ryman. (no man's land but lot's of soil!!)

Personally speaking I am sure we will take our thread (worms) elsewhere; but we will still come back to visit our virtual friends on the ESL board

I believe the correct expression then is "in limbo" which has religious connotations.

Which miracle are you waiting for then 'Towners'?

Perhaps it's the 'turning the topsoil into a football pitch' one! Or, perhaps 'turning an ESL club into a Ryman' one! Or?

I think, my PB fiend, that if you thought about it "LIMBO" is actually a West Indian dance, not a religious word.

As for miracles, yes I believe in them, along with hard work and determination, so with a combination of all 3, I am convinced TOWNERS can move to higher places, in the fullness of time.

If you want religion, dig out your bible and find Proverbs chapter 10 verse 8!!

have a nice day

Working parties will still go on and Southport is so committed that he is going to spend an hour at the ground on Sunday before he flies off to Cyprus for his holidays. I say a big thank you to Mrs Southport.

By the way, does she know yet???
