'Heavy Mob' required urgently at Brimdsown tonight

Recommended Posts

A whole heap of topsoil has been delivered to Brimsdown. This must be spread across the pitch before the reseeding later this week, so a working party, with as many rakes and barrows as possible, are required to report for duty at Brimsdown from 6.30 tonight. Sorry for the short notice, but this is a time-critical effort.

Further to the beer sponsor's note. We believe there was about 16 tons of the stuff on the pitch in approximately 8 mounds. By the end of the night most of the worst holes had been filled and the low level goalmouths/penalty areas had been reinstated.

Watch this psace for further developments and hope we get some rain this week.

Anbody got any contacts with the local fire brigade who can practice spraying the pitch with water?

By 9.00pm we 'ground' to a halt as the 'earth was moving' for Frank and we thought we should quit whilst the 'going was good'(to firm).

We certainly did not make a 'mountain out of a molehill' when pulling muscles we never knew we had. What we did do was a lot of thinking about ETFC games over the last three years and we did this by 'raking up the past'.

The worst part about the evening was that we missed two episodes of Corrie!
