Attendance of 6,600 !!!

 

As for the abuser of Billericay, I recall BTFC taking over 11,000, three years out of four, to the FA Vase ( a lesser tournament than the trophy) and over 3000 to Nottingham on a wednesday evening for a Final replay and they were only an Essex Senior league side then....

So both our essex teams lost in their respective finals. But we lost to a decent side , you lost to a side who are in the bottom half of dr martins.

 

I magine your cockey players were so arrogrant going into the game that you would easily win, So it surves you right. Also you should learn to keep good players like scotty forbes rather than releasing them.

 

shame you missed the game matt though, when we get to the Ldv final again next year you can come with me to cardiff to witness sufc making essex prowd!

 

PS: if you need any defenders sufc have got rid of a few e.g jenks,stuart and my personal favouirte Mcsweeney they could help you do ok next season IMO.

Cockey players? I think not, had you been listening to the radio rather than flicking Burgers in McDonalds all day you would've heard all the Pre-Match interviews saying they were going to take the game and opposition seriously. I suppose it was just the better team won on the day, and they were really up for it.

 

"Turn up to win" Is one of the most pathetic excuses I've ever heard, did Southend think they just had to "turn up to win" against Blackpool? What about QPR at Roots Hall?

 

Some decent Southend fans shut this [***!!***] up. His contributions on our forum are worthless and just purely for some "Light hearted banter" which he thinks is hilarious, but isn't.

 

Even your views on Southend Utd for next season are total [****!!****] aswell!!! Promotion to Div. 2? Could happen but isn't realistic at this stage of the close-season and when 'Top' Players like Leon Constantine lie about not talking to other Clubs and then join Peterborough, you'd think that Southend are not in the position that they like to keep thinking they were in 10 years ago!!!

 

Apologies to the Southend fans, that can accept that Div. 3 is where they probably deserve to be and wish for Canvey to honestly do well and enjoy a derby or two, (more like in the Conference than the Football League) but GOWER POWER aka ASHRIMPER is living with his head in the Clouds and doesn't want to come down to reality!!

Obviously being stuck in such a dull backward place as Billericay has got to the head of Gazza and his imigination is doing overtime and his wit is as razor as ever - 10yr old boys, don't make me laugh, any 10yr old boy in Billericay would be out mugging old ladies for thier crack habit on matchdays, the only people who watch them still are people that are well over the hill .... and on their death bed one way or another <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

this thread is quite lively.. southend are fked now constantine has buggered off, good to see barry fry is still fking the shrimpers over.. and they cant even afford to keep warren on the books without cutting his salary for a crap single season contract.. ok maybe he isnt the most gifted footballer but is is one of the few southend players that actually give a toss or can string more than 4 words together
