What are our chances in conf south

Being as it looks like we will be in conf south what do e think our chances of promotion r.

 

Personally, i think we've got a good chance but only if we can keep CK and most of the players.

recon we have a very good chance if we keep a lot of the squad and ck i expect we will lose oates clarke rocky and maybe a few others but im sure we will do fine.

relegation battle with the heart ripped out of the club. little support from the terraces. it was there to see last season and will get worse at ashford in a lower league. sad sad state of affairs.

If we keep a strong team;

 

Rocky Baptiste (good goal scorer)

Phil Smith (maybe, but doubtfull)

Sigere (would be good goalscorer in conf south)

Pulman (another good goal scorer)

Oates (doubtful, maybe go to a football league side or morecambe or someone0

Venter (never seen him play in goal, looks ok)

Clarke (would prob stay)

Che Stadhart (seems to have found his feet and would stay)

Edwards (loves the club and hopefully will retire at Margate)

Abbot (solid player)

 

If we can get some good local players in from the Thanet Area we will probably finish mid table in the first few seasons, find our feet and maybe get to promotion into the conference proper but i can't see it happending yet.

Hmm, you will have to compete with two big spending sides, Hornchurch who have just taken two players from Yeovil, and SCW (Steve Claridge's Weymouth)
