We may be able to sign one or 2 players on contract if they are any good.

Why would anyone drop two leagues to go to Slough? They'd go to one of the 'bigger' clubs in the league...remember your just an sized average club in this league.

That sums up the mentality of the Windsor fan quite well, well done for nearly stringing two sentences together Chels

Have fun sitting at the bottom of the table this season!

that's it Chels! Go in two footed why don't you!!

Point i tried making is that i feel that SOME slough fans still feel they are a big club when they are just an average club for this league...yeah you say you can throw money at them but we can throw £25k of your money at players if we wanted!!!

Telford's players would most likey go to a bigger local club than to Slough who are hardly a team appealing to good players. I mean no ground and average attendances for this new league? Erm... Riiiight. It's gonna be a tough league for both of us next season but i feel both of us will at the very least stay up and even be in the play off race!

Don't think i'm painting all Slough fans with the same brush because i'm not but some of the things you say on here make you seem like idiots.

Sorry Chels, but that point is rubbish! Many of last season's squad were ex-Conference players who have dropped a couple of levels to get regular first team football and then show what they can do and get to a higher level again (eg. Hodges). Also look at teams higher up the league pyramid. Players such as Sam Parkin and Leon Knight from Chelsea, Steve Sidwell and James Harper from Arsenal, Danny Higginbotham and John Curtis from Man U all took one or two steps down and have now formed good reputations for themselves in the second or first divisions or even now back in the Premier. Players are willing to drop leagues for a better chance of football.

Looking at next year, both teams will rely quite heavily on keeping as many as possible from last years squads. In that respect I think we may have the edge if we keep the majority of our young squad compared to the older, influential players such as Cousins, Carroll and Scott who are running out of years. In the end we shall wait and see and hopefully another couple of excellent derby matches are on the cards.

Obviously you dont know much about club affairs, Mr Simpson stated recently that the majority of that would be going on bills, ground and pitch repair, and hell does our pitch need a lot of TLC.

Have the Windsore Fans got a website? They seem to spend most of their time on here. (Windsore because they don't have protection behind the goals and it don't half blow across the great Park!)

And in any case what's wrong with a bit of ambition for the club and wanting to see if you can get some good players - if you don't ask you'll never know if they will play for us!

It's our pitch when we pay your Chairman 25K a season!

I think it's obvious that when 130 games are played on a pitch it wont be in a great condition at the end of a season and will be in need of repair, which is what I said in the first place so I don’t know what your point is there?

I don’t mind you calling me a fool but it's the second time you’ve called me it, cant you think of another insult or doesn't your limited vocabulary able you to do so???

Considering the number of matches held on the pitch this year it has held up fantastically well. Where does the 130 total come from though? Obviously there were 46 league matches on it (23 of Slough & Windsor each), we had about six reserve matches on there, and four cup games, which makes it up to 56.

Where do the other eighty matches come from???
