Worcester won Division One by a country mile. Their promotion to the Zurich Premiership has been challenged based on the suitability of their ground and is therefore under investigation. This prevents Worcester running their business properly as they are in limbo, are having to shell out for lawyers and can't recruit the players they want as they don't know which division they will be in next season.

 

Worcester's ground, The Sixways, is a purpose built stadium with state of the art facilities and is the envy of most current Zurich Premiership clubs. Quite frankly, it is a ludicrous state of affairs when teams don't get promoted / relegated based on performance throughout the season - especially as these were the rules set down at the start. You may remember the same thing happening to Rotherham a couple of years ago.
