Brighton's play-off victory tonight means that Gary Hart (ex-Stansted) will be appearing at the Millennium Stadium just some 8 days after Neil Harris (Ex-Maldon Town) plays there on Saturday.

 

I wonder what odds the bookies would give on a current ESL player appearing at either the Millennium Stadium or Wembley Stadium in the next few years? Maybe Bradley Poole or Rudi Hall (both ex-ETFC) appearing at Wembley for Potters Bar in the Vase Final?

 

Speaking of Stansted, it was nice to see their Chairman, Terry Shoebridge, wearing his FA Vase Winners blazer with pride at St. Andrews last Sunday.

Ah, but did you go in the Premier Bar? No windows, no air con, warm wine and no bloody smoking. As for the match..men against boys.. I thought it somewhat belittled the competition really. Most of the WC players are punching well below their weight...
