Has TDC got something against football?

OK I know most domestic football is over, but I'm struck by the rapid disappearance of goal posts from local parks. We haven't even had the FA Cup final yet! I first noticed on Sunday that goalposts had disappeared adjacent to Hartsdown Park ground and then Tuesday night found they had also disappeared in Northdown Park. I'm sure they stayed till June last year and it's not as if they use the areas for any other sport. Am I being paranoid or has our local council got something against our national game?

 

I'm partly prompted to post this by the comment of lack of traffic on this forum - I'm sure we will have meatier topic in the next day or so!

I am impressed that TDC actually got something done. They dont cut the verges for weeks and when they do they use a combine harvester and they look like a dogs breakfast
