Lee Elam has been transferred to Hornchurch to join fellow ex-Yeovil Town player Kirk Jackson at the club.

Gary Johnson, who completed the deal today with Hornchurch manager Gary Hill, said of the move: "Lee didn't quite have the opportunity to prove himself at Huish Park and after an end of season talk it was decided he could move on if he found another club where he felt more comfortable.

"We wish him all the best after his short stay here."

Elam was at Morecambe I think season before last and is a quality player. Scores quite a few goals. Can play on the wing I think.
